Facilities Support (Co-op)

Day Shift :

Hours variable based on co-op hours, to be determined with school.

Overview :

As a Facilities Support Co-op for

Merrill:

A Keel Company, you will be responsible for assisting maintenance staff with the upkeep and cleanliness of the facility and other miscellaneous general labor tasks.

Job Functions :

Cleaning walls, floors, equipment and other areas of the facility. Restocking cleaning supplies and maintaining janitorial closest in a clean, organized, and safe manner. Disposing of waste, sanitation of facilities, and other related areas of the facilities and ground duties as assigned.

Physical Demands :

Frequent standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without mechanical assistance.

Work Environment:

Typical shop floor environment, with some exposure to machinery, fumes, and debris from machining. Dirt and oil will be common.

Requirements:

Must be a current high school student. Must be able to follow basic verbal and written instructions. Must have good communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Must be punctual, reliable, ad organized with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
