Apprentice Maintenance Technician Sure Construction - 5.0 Berkley, MI Job Details Part-time | Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Tools provided Qualifications Safe work practices Driver's License Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Construction Building interior maintenance Full Job Description Construction Company looking for an Apprentice Maintenance Technician to join our team and become a vital part in assisting Senior Maintenance Technicians on small projects and repairs on Commercial and Residential properties in the Tri County area. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, motivated, eager to learn, be able to work with a crew, and be able to assist in complete projects in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities:
Support troubleshooting, diagnose and evaluate problems on site Assist with performing corrective, preventative, and emergency maintenance repairs Load, unload, and organize materials and tools Model safe work habits and abide by all safety policies and procedures Assist construction crews with daily tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup Operate basic hand and power tools (training provided as needed) Perform additional duties as assigned Exhibit professional appearance and demeanor at all times with customers
Qualifications:
Must be responsible and trustworthy Must have reliable transportation Must have a valid driver's license and no criminal record Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs regularly Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Previous construction or labor experience preferred, but not required Basic tool knowledge a plus
