You're paired with a veteran technician, learning how our lines run, how to lock out and tag out equipment before any hands-on work, and how a clean, organized area (hello, 5S) keeps everyone safe and efficient. We're hiring two apprentices—one focused on mechanical systems and one focused on electrical systems—both gaining cross-training to become well-rounded problem solvers who keep production moving. What You'll Do Shadow and assist maintenance technicians diagnosing and repairing equipment across mechanical and electrical disciplines. Carry out routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems to improve reliability. Support troubleshooting of PLC controls, motors, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatics to reduce downtime. Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to plan and execute tasks. Help install, modify, and upgrade equipment and subsystems as continuous improvement projects roll out. Document work performed and keep accurate maintenance records using basic computer tools. Follow safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures at all times; uphold 5S standards for order and cleanliness. Partner with production teams to identify issues early, enhance equipment performance, and keep throughput on target. How You'll Grow Participate in structured on-the-job training spanning both mechanical and electrical maintenance. Develop practical troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills under expert guidance. Gain exposure to automated manufacturing systems and robotics (if applicable) to broaden your toolkit. What You Bring High school diploma or GED. Foundation in mechanical concepts and electrical basics, plus a strong appetite to learn. Problem-solver who's comfortable asking questions and digging into technical details. Ability to read technical drawings is a plus (not required). Basic computer proficiency for maintenance systems and documentation. Physical Realities Capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed. Comfortable working around machinery in a manufacturing setting. Able to work in varying temperatures and industrial conditions. Schedule & Work Environment Day shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM
  • 4:00 PM Automotive manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and typical industrial hazards.
