Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your expertise will help maintain a welcoming environment by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, landscaping, and groundskeeping activities. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on buildings, equipment, and grounds to ensure safety and operational efficiency Conduct landscape maintenance including mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, shrubbery pruning, and gardening tasks Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for construction, hardscape projects, or repairs Maintain irrigation systems and implement seasonal snow plowing to keep outdoor areas accessible and attractive year-round Assist with landscaping projects involving planting, soil preparation, hardscape installation, and tree care Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and address them promptly Support general construction activities such as installing fixtures or repairing structures as needed Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment like excavators Strong background in landscaping, lawn care, gardening, tree trimming, and horticulture practices Familiarity with irrigation systems, snow plowing techniques, and hardscape installation is highly desirable Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and equipment operation Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges Prior experience in facility or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Join us to make a tangible difference by maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and ensuring our facilities operate smoothly!
