Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, performing a variety of maintenance tasks to keep operations running smoothly. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to quality work. Duties Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs and maintenance on programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Oversee facilities maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Manage residential painting projects as required, maintaining aesthetic quality. Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff or contractors when necessary. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management. Skills Proficient in the use of tools and equipment related to maintenance tasks, including ohmmeters for electrical testing. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems and troubleshoot effectively. Experience in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Previous supervisory experience is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities within a team setting. Customer service skills are essential for interacting with staff and addressing their maintenance concerns efficiently.
