Your Role:
Part‑
Time Facilities Support Specialist:
As a Part‑Time Facilities Support Specialist, you will play an important role in maintaining clean, safe, and functional facilities across Vibe locations. You'll support the Facilities Management team by assisting with routine maintenance, event setup, groundskeeping, and general upkeep—helping ensure a positive environment for both staff and members. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes initiative, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
What You'll Do:
Support Daily Maintenance:
Perform routine tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
Assist With Repairs:
Help with minor maintenance projects including painting, wall patching, replacing light bulbs, and assembling or moving furniture.
Maintain Grounds:
Support landscaping and outdoor upkeep such as mowing, raking, snow removal, and general groundskeeping.
Set Up Spaces:
Assist with room set‑ups and tear‑downs for meetings, events, and scheduled activities.
Support Technicians:
Assist maintenance staff, contractors, and tradespeople as needed.
Use Tools Safely:
Operate hand and power tools in a safe and responsible manner.
Manage Supplies:
Help track inventory of supplies and equipment; notify leadership when stock is low.
Follow Safety Protocols:
Adhere to all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Respond to
Needs:
Assist with emergency maintenance requests as directed.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Basic understanding of computers, smartphones, email, and communication tools Previous labor, maintenance, custodial, or facilities experience preferred Skills & Abilities Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods Reliable transportation and consistent, punctual attendance Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions Ability to work independently and collaboratively Comfort working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform manual labor throughout the shift
