Job Description

Overview We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and possess a variety of technical skills to address maintenance needs effectively.
Pay:
Starting at $22.00 per hour or more, depending on experience Mr Chips Inc. is looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Personnel 4pm-1am Monday through Friday and every other Saturday as needed
Job Description:
Looking for applicants with Machinery servicing, Trouble Shooting and Electrical knowledge Responsible for implementing routine and non-routine maintenance procedures on equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning of processing equipment for food safety, employee safety, and food quality purposes. Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment and facilities in good working condition Performing maintenance of equipment as needed or scheduled as part of the master maintenance program. Follows GMP's and company procedures prior to, while executing and upon completion of the maintenance functions and ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized prior to release for use. Ensures the proper materials, chemicals and tools are used while performing maintenance duties. Follows company safety procedures at all times. Alerts production foreman and/or production employees if equipment is not being used properly. Requests that appropriate maintenance materials are readily in stock for maintenance needs. Follows proper documentation process of Maintenance Events. Requests service of equipment and/or machinery if manufacturer technical assistance is needed. Ensures that production foremen are aware of maintenance in progress. Qualifications Proficiency in English, both written and verbal Experience in facilities maintenance, including electrical work Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus In-person, regular attendance at the facility is necessary for the position. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Requirements In person, regular attendance at the facility Knowledgeable in equipment and repairs Ability to work in cross functional situations
