We are a licensed cannabis cultivation facility committed to producing premium-quality flower in a clean, compliant, and team-oriented environment. We're looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to join our cultivation team and play a critical role in daily operations. The Cannabis Cultivation Assistant supports the cultivation team with all plant care, harvest, and post-harvest processes. This includes tasks such as defoliation, trimming, harvesting, packaging, and other cultivation-related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify maintenance related problems such as HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc. and repair

Defoliation:

Remove excess leaves to optimize light penetration and airflow Identify signs of plant stress or pest issues during defoliation

Harvesting:

Assist with cutting, transporting, and weighing plants Tag and track plants using METRC or internal inventory systems Maintain cleanliness and compliance in the harvest area Trimming (Wet/Dry): Trim flower with attention to quality and consistency Ensure product meets aesthetic and weight requirements

Packaging:

Accurately weigh, label, and package finished cannabis products Follow SOPs for compliance, hygiene, and efficiency Track inventory during packaging with precision

General Cultivation Support:

Assist with transplanting, trellising, and feeding plants Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment Follow biosecurity protocols to protect plant health Operate within compliance of Michigan's Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA)

Qualifications:

Prior experience in cannabis maintenance, cultivation, trimming, and packaging Ability to follow strict compliance protocols and SOPs Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment Must be 21+ years of age and able to pass all background checks required by the CRA Reliable transportation to and from the facility

Work Environment:

Indoor commercial cultivation facility Schedule may include weekends and overtime during harvest periods Exposure to strong smells, loud equipment, and bright lighting

Compensation:

Hourly pay based on experience. Advancement opportunities available for dependable and high-performing individuals.
