This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing injection molds to ensure maximum tool life and minimal production downtime.

Key Responsbilities:

Perform preventative maintenance on multi-cavity injection molds. Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble molds. Troubleshoot and repair molding defects. Perform precision bench work including polishing cavities and cores. Maintain and troubleshoot water circuits. Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve tooling issues. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

2-5 years of experience in a tool room or mold repair environment. Firsthand experience with injection molds and hot runner systems. Experience with overhead crane operation

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to stand, bend, and work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods.

Pay:

$24.73 - $29.79 per hour
