Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep turf healthy and vibrant Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements with pruning, trimming, planting, and weeding Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as trimmers, blowers, excavators, and snow plows safely and efficiently Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes Conduct general property maintenance tasks including debris removal, trash pickup, and surface cleaning Support construction projects involving landscape installation or hardscape features like patios or walkways Provide tree care services including trimming, pruning, and removal when necessary to promote healthy growth and safety Requirements Mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and maintenance Basic understanding of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques such as pruning, planting, irrigation systems, and gardening principles Experience with landscaping equipment like trimmers, blowers, excavators (or willingness to learn), and snow plowing machinery Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions with stamina for long periods of standing or walking Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures when operating machinery or handling construction materials Prior experience or familiarity with horticulture practices or tree care is a plus This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in landscape maintenance while contributing to the beauty and safety of outdoor environments.
