Janitorial/Maintenance Assistant English Rose•4.3 Edina, MN Job Details Full-time $20•$22 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Tuition reimbursement Life insurance Qualifications Driver's License Snow plowing Full Job Description English Rose Suites is seeking a full time Janitor/Maintenance assistant to assist in maintaining both the exterior and interior of our six beautiful residential assisted living homes located in Edina and Hopkins Minnesota. This is also a great entry-level position to learn maintenance procedures and skills to have future advancement.

Shift:

40 hours, Monday•Friday 8:30•5 pm

Wage Range:

$20•$22 per hour (DOE) Support you will provide will vary day to day but consists of: Sweep debris or remove snow from sidewalks and decks Move furniture Clean windows and light fixtures Floor care, including deep cleaning hardwood floors, tile and shampooing carpet Perform various minor home repairs (replace knobs, light fixtures, level a door, etc.) Routine checks on appliances, security and fire systems Change HVAC air filters & light bulbs Remove and properly dispose of garbage and recyclable materials Run errands to, from and between homes in company provided vehicle Yard and garden work Other minor routine maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed by Maintenance Superintendent.

Criteria for success:

Strong work ethic Work with minimal supervision and willing to learn new skills Ability to climb ladders, bend at waist, kneel, crouch and lift or push 75 pounds Current MN driver's license and clean driving record Capability to learn to operate company vehicle and snowplow Professional and positive attitude as you'll be interacting with our Residents and families Dependable and excellent time management skills and attendance record, punctual.
