Park Maintenance Worker - Elk River

Join our team and keep our parks vibrant, safe, and welcoming! The Park Maintenance Worker plays an essential role in maintaining recreation buildings, grounds, trails, and open spaces. Responsibilities include operating light equipment, performing general repairs using power tools, and completing seasonal tasks such as turf and landscape maintenance, tree care, and snow removal. Seeking someone who can work both independently and collaboratively, communicating with team members and foreman. This is an active, physical position requiring lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods, and working outdoors in all conditions. Early mornings, evenings, or weekend work on occasion. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and a Class A Commercial Driver's License (or ability to obtain within six months). Preference given to candidates with specialized training or parks department experience. IUOE Local 49 union position.
