General Maintenance Worker

Oak Terrace is an Assisted Living and Memory Care community located in St. Peter. We are in search of an individual who will keep up with basic maintenance needs around our property on a part-time basis. Scheduling is flexible; averaging a minimum of 8 hours per week. Extensive knowledge is not necessary, although those with strong experience are encouraged to apply. Main duties would include small day to day needs. Pay will be determined upon hire and reflect previous experience. The following is a list of duties a regular week may involve, but is not all inclusive. Simple resident requests such as hanging pictures, fixing a walker, tightening a screw, etc.. Facility wall hangings Running toilets Smoke alarm checks, battery replacement Emergency preparedness equipment testing Light bulbs replacement Replacing A/C vents. Grounds maintenance Small requests from the care team Helping move resident belongings for re-arrangement needs and turn over Some housekeeping tasks Soap and sanitizer, paper towel dispenser refills Water softner checks
