Maintenance Assistant

Job Overview Ebenezer is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our senior living team at Willows Bend in Fridley, MN! This position monitors preventative maintenance programs and repairs building systems and equipment. Trains other building staff, as needed, on basic trouble-shooting of building systems and equipment. This maintenance schedule includes; 72 hours every two weeks Full time; Day shift: 8:30 AM - 4 PM Additional hours as work requires Weekend on call Willows Bend Senior Living offers 136 beautifully designed apartment homes and amenities that encourage an engaging, active lifestyle for older adults, which comes with the peace of mind knowing supportive services and care by Ebenezer is available should your needs change. Responsibilities:

Repairs and maintains physical structure and grounds.

This includes the following:

Repairs items found deficient by maintenance or requested by work orders. Changes filters and check belts on air handle units. Checks kitchen equipment. Checks laundry equipment. Helps in housekeeping as requested. Assists with moving boxes, furniture, etc. Maintains shop in a clean and orderly manner. Removes snow from sidewalks and walkways and uses ice melt on sidewalks as needed (where applicable). Trims around bushes, trees, and sidewalks. Removes debris where applicable. Keeps grounds safe and looking neat and attractive. Processes work orders and performs other duties as assigned. Assists with turnover of apartments for new residents; paint, carpentry, and cleaning.

Required Qualifications:

1 year of previous experience Experience with mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems

Drivers License Preferred Qualifications:
