Job Description

Position:
Maintenance Assistant (7:30am to 3:30pm) Fair Oaks Lodge is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to assist with the daily maintenance functions. Additionally, this individual would help to transport residents as needed. The right candidate will ensure the facilities equipment and utilities are maintained in good working order and facility grounds are properly maintained.
Job Responsibilities:
Proficiency in basic carpentry, painting, patching drywall, electrical, plumbing and landscaping Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs. Conduct painting and drywall repairs as needed to maintain the appearance of our facilities. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Assist in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality. Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory levels. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, with specific expertise in painting, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks. A valid and active driver's license, preferably class D or CDL. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to effectively diagnose and repair maintenance issues. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
