Job Description

Cura Health is looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep and functionality of our healthcare facility. In this role, you will assist with routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections to help ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Assist with general maintenance tasks including repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry as needed. Conduct regular inspections of the building, equipment, and systems to identify and address maintenance needs. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize disruption. Ensure maintenance supplies and tools are organized and properly maintained. Collaborate with facilities management and external contractors to complete projects effectively. Follow all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in maintaining records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team. Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
