This energetic position offers the opportunity to work across a variety of maintenance tasks, from landscaping and lawn care to equipment repair and snow plowing. Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, tree trimming, gardening, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators for construction, hardscape installation, or repairs Conduct lawn care activities such as edging, fertilizing, aerating, and irrigation system maintenance to ensure lush green spaces Carry out snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways and parking areas accessible and safe Maintain trees through pruning and trimming to promote healthy growth and safety Assist with general building maintenance including minor repairs, equipment servicing, and troubleshooting mechanical issues Support horticulture efforts by caring for plants, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping features Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and machinery safely and effectively Experience with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and garden design Proficiency in lawn care practices such as mowing, irrigation management, and tree care Familiarity with construction activities involving hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment like excavators Knowledge of horticulture principles to maintain healthy plants and landscapes Ability to perform snow plowing efficiently during winter conditions Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the upkeep of beautiful outdoor environments while developing versatile skills in maintenance, landscaping, and construction.
