Job Description
General The Seasonal Airport Technician contributes to providing safe, efficient, and compliant airport operations by performing a variety of grounds maintenance tasks throughout the City's airport property. Supervision Received The Seasonal Airport Technician is responsible to and performs under the general supervision of the Airport Manager. Supervision Exercised Not Applicable. Examples of Essential Duties The following examples are meant to be illustrative only and are not intended to be all-inclusive: Perform grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, etc. Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other grounds-related machinery Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of grounds maintenance practices including mowing, trimming, and equipment care Knowledge of safe operation of small machinery and hand tools Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Possess a valid Missouri Driver's License or Any combination of education, training, and/or experience which would qualify for the position as decided by the Airport Manager and approved by the City Administrator
