Part-Time, 20 Hours Per Week Position Overview Mirabile Elementary School is seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodian/Maintenance Person to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students and staff. Our small rural school serves approximately 45 students and values teamwork, reliability, and pride in our school community. Duties and Responsibilities Clean classrooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces Empty trash and recycling containers Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs Monitor building conditions and report maintenance needs Assist with seasonal maintenance such as snow removal or grounds upkeep as needed Help prepare rooms and spaces for school events and activities Ensure the building remains safe and secure during work hours Qualifications Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and maintenance tools Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies or equipment as needed Compensation Pay based on experience and qualifications To Apply Interested applicants should contact Mirabile Elementary School 816-586-4120 for more information and to receive a copy application.
