Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Seasonal Make Ready Technician to prepare our luxury apartment units for new residents. This role involves ensuring that vacant units are clean, functional, and ready for move-in by completing tasks such as painting, minor repairs, appliance checks, and deep cleaning. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and can complete unit turns efficiently and to quality standards. The duration for this assignment will be 60 to 90 days from the start date, with potential of being full-time employment
Duties:
Responsible for ensuring that all vacated apartments are thoroughly restored to "make ready" status, preparing the apartment for new residents in a timely manner Complete various service request as assigned Prepares vacant apartments for market ready conditions by performing various non-technical functions such as maintaining exterior lighting, ground equipment repair and preventative maintenance, caulking, painting, pool maintenance, lock repairs, etc Inspect vacant apartments and inform the Maintenance Supervisor of needed repairs and services Assists Maintenance Supervisor in completing projects and completing preventive maintenance checklist Completes service requests in a timely manner and shares on-call responsibility when assigned Responsible for daily pick up of residential grounds and cleaning amenities when needed Responsible for interior painting of buildings and amenities Routine maintenance and repairs Replacement of minor parts Replacement of major equipment
Qualifications:
One-year related experience at an apartment community and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be results orientated and self-starter Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential Must be mechanically inclined with knowledge of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, constructional and electrical procedures Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user-moved aids, mechanical equipment and measuring devices General property maintenance skills required (painting, pressure washing, trash pick-up, etc.) Excellent customer service skills
