This energetic role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, from landscaping and lawn care to building repairs and equipment operation. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, tree trimming, gardening, and irrigation system management to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for construction, hardscape installation, or repairs around the property. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for all visitors and staff. Maintain outdoor features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other hardscape elements through regular inspection and repair. Assist with general building maintenance tasks such as fixing fixtures, repairing equipment, or addressing safety hazards. Support tree care activities including pruning, planting, or removal to promote healthy growth and landscape aesthetics. Collaborate with team members on landscaping projects or construction initiatives to enhance property appeal and functionality. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care techniques including trimming and planting, as well as snow plowing procedures. Familiarity with construction processes and hardscape installation methods. Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; capable of lifting heavy objects when necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they escalate.
