In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our classrooms, storage and outdoor spaces. Your proactive approach will help maintain a welcoming environment by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks on a daily basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your hands-on expertise to keep our rented spaces in top condition. Responsibilities Perform routine minor repairs to furniture or fixtures. Detailed and thorough decluttering and cleaning of classrooms, bathrooms and kitchen spaces each day. Including wiping down shelves, cleaning windows, counters, doors, garbage removal, mopping, dishes, vaccuuming and dusting. Sanitization and disinfection of items and surfaces. Hauling recycling to nearby recycling center weekly; occasional hauling of junk to the dump. Performing safety walkthroughs each day to ensure all areas are ready for students daily. Weekly deep clean to reset the space. Requirements Ability to operate power tools, hand tools safely and effectively (preferred). Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Experience in snow plowing or similar winter maintenance activities is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward maintaining facilities and outdoor spaces.
