Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities and grounds. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Maintenance Person will play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Perform regular lawn care, including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure healthy growth. Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas effectively to maintain optimal moisture levels. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through pruning, weeding, and seasonal planting. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for various maintenance tasks. Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mulching, edging, and debris removal. Assist with groundskeeping duties to ensure clean and safe outdoor environments. Identify and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed within the facilities. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently. Experience Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance work is essential. A background in gardening or horticulture is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. A commitment to safety practices while performing maintenance tasks.
