NC05Salary Range:
$33,902 - $59,327 Management prefers applicants with the following: Experience performing drainage maintenance activities (such as shoulder and ditch maintenance, pipe installation, and drainage structures) Experience in the operation of at least 2 pieces of the following equipment: backhoe, tandem dump truck, motor grader, front end loader, forklift, force feed loader, asphalt distributor, asphalt patcher crack sealing machine, track excavators, skid steer or sweeper Working knowledge of Work Zone Safety and Workplace safety policies Jo Roberson (252) 774-6011 or bjroberson@ncdot.gov Minimum Education and Experience Some state job postings say you can qualify by an "equivalent combination of education and experience." Necessary Special Requirements Either possession of a current Commercial Driver's License on the date of hire, OR the North Carolina Commercial Driver's License must be obtained through completion of on-the-job training and all requirements mandated by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (Federal Registry 49 CFR 383) within 360 days of the date of hire.
