Job Description

About The Role A Maintenance Tech will maintain and repair all plant facilities, machinery, and equipment. Responsibilities Perform minor preventative maintenance duties on vehicles, forklifts, all factory equipment, and all facility equipment. Perform minor maintenance on hydraulic systems Perform minor maintenance on electrical/electronic systems including building and company equipment Maintains accurate inventory of parts and supplies for maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities. Assist Maintenance II and III personnel with major maintenance projects as directed Assist in maintaining a high level of 5S in the department Assume additional responsibilities as needed Candidate Requirements One year working experience as a maintenance mechanic. Must have work experience in welding, metal fabrication, plumbing, carpentry, mechanics, and/or electrical wiring.

Physical demands:
While performing duties of job, employee is required to stand; walk; sit; climb; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. At times, must use ladders to work at heights of up to 12 feet.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust, fumes and is near moving machinery.
