Job Description

Maintenance Floater Complete Care | Full-Time Hourly Position Support Multiple Skilled Nursing Centers Across New Jersey Complete Care is seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Regional Maintenance Assistant to support our skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers throughout Monmouth, Essex, Union, Somerset, Middlesex, and Mercer Counties . This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys variety in their workday, takes pride in keeping buildings operating safely and efficiently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, can multitask between projects and facilities, and is willing to respond to urgent maintenance needs when necessary. Our residents are valued members of our extended family, and maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment is essential to the quality care we provide.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on facility equipment and systems Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and building-related issues Complete general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and equipment maintenance Assist with facility inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations Travel between facilities throughout Monmouth, Essex, Union, Somerset, Middlesex, and Mercer Counties Manage multiple projects and priorities across various locations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Work independently while collaborating with facility leadership and team members Complete additional duties as assigned by the
Maintenance Director or Administrator Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Maintenance, handyman, facilities, construction, or building operations experience required Long-term care, healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living experience is preferred but not required Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or trade certifications preferred Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle Ability to travel regularly between assigned facilities Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time-management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands Computer proficiency preferred Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
Schedule:
Full-Time Hourly Position Primarily Day Shift Hours Flexible schedule required to support multiple centers Participation in emergency on-call rotation required Must be available to assist facilities during evenings, weekends, and off-hours emergencies when needed
