Porter/Maintenance Worker

Job Description:

Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, and building exteriors. Removes trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily. Prepares property trash and recycling for city pick-up. Assists in the preparation of market ready units, including removing trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready. Performs assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Organize and reorder cleaning supplies and materials as needed. Assists in the cleaning of available apartments and/or models. Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments and/or common areas to the Building Superintendent. Represents the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property. Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner. Assists in preparation and possible remodeling of units Qualifications for Porter Prior experience as a porter in a hospitality environment preferred. Ability to lift and carry 50lbs or more. Willingness to perform all required tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of work safety habits. Ability to professionally represent the company. Attention to detail. Ability to organize and prioritize work. Ability to interact effectively with staff and residents. Ability to work individually and with a team.
