Trash Collector / Maintenance Worker - Part Time

Part Time Trash Collector / Maintenance Worker 6am - 11am | Retirement Community | Medford, NJ $16 - $18.40 per hour (based on experience) We are currently looking for a Part Time Trash Collector / Maintenance Worker to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and is committed to maintaining cleanliness and order in a variety of settings. This role will assist with trash collection on a large campus and navigate various apartment complexes, both on foot and using technical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect trash and recyclables from designated areas on a large campus, including office buildings, outdoor spaces, and apartment complexes. Walk extensive distances throughout the campus and apartment complexes, ensuring all waste is collected efficiently. Operate technical equipment, such as waste collection carts or compactors, as necessary. Ensure all waste is disposed of in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines. Maintain cleanliness around collection areas, removing any debris or litter in the vicinity. Perform basic maintenance tasks, including reporting any areas needing attention or repair. Adhere to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operation of tasks.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old Must have a valid Driver's License Must be able to lift 40lbs overhead

Annual Flu Vaccines Required Scheduling:

Morning Shifts; Flexible 6am - 11am (Flexible) Mon / Wed / Fri (days can be flexible, must be every other) Approximately 15 hours a week; 30 hours bi-weekly

Rate:

$16/hr to $18.40/hr to Start (depending on experience). Benefits for
