GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of this position is to support the Facility Supervisor in completing daily tasks in the Maintenance Department by assisting the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Technician
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

Assistance & Support:
Handing tools, parts, and equipment to technicians, setting up workstations, and cleaning work areas.
Preventative Maintenance:
Lubricating machines, cleaning equipment, replacing air filters, and changing light bulbs.
Basic Repairs:
Performing minor fixes, including repairing broken locks, filling wall gaps, and performing basic plumbing or electrical tasks.
Building & Grounds Upkeep:
Performing general exterior maintenance like power washing.
Documentation & Safety:
Assisting in identifying issues, checking safety systems, and maintaining records of repairs.
Ensure custodial supplies are ordered and stocked
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Inventory and maintain equipment
Clean equipment and maintenance shop
Overhead lift Operator Certification (or the ability to be certified within 90 days of hire)
Forklift Operators Certification (or the ability to be certified within 90 days of hire)
OSHA 10 certification (or the ability to be certified within 90 days of hire)
EXPERIENCE
Up to one year of related experience (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience)
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic skills: Ability to log in, log out, and easily navigate through MS Windows-based interface.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Basic Skills:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

SALARY RANGE
The starting hourly rate for the role is between USD $23.00 and $27.00. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for variable bonus programs and benefits.
