GED Full Job Description Maintenance Position Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance professional to join our team at the New Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newark, New Jersey. As a vital member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art facilities, allowing our residents to thrive in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs and maintenance, IT experience is a Plus Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems Maintain and repair equipment, machinery, and fixtures throughout the facility Assist with snow removal and landscaping duties as needed Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any maintenance-related concerns Respond to emergency calls and address urgent maintenance needs in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

1 years of experience in maintenance or a related field Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent required
