We focus on creating engaging recreational experiences while ensuring our facilities and landscapes are well-maintained and inviting. Summary We have an immediate opening on our team for a Maintenance and Grounds Laborer to join our team at Eagle's Landing Day Camp. You will be working outdoors moving and raking mulch, collecting trash bags, and doing general maintenance jobs. All of the work is on our 20-acre property in North Brunswick. The job primarily includes weed whacking, mulching, planting, raking, painting, daily garbage pickup and some general maintenance responsibilities. This is an hourly position and your full-time hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. You must be a hard worker and self-starter. This is a full-time temporary position. Salary is $18.00 per hour. Eagle's Landing Day Camp is a summer day camp located in North Brunswick, NJ. Our crews are preparing for a busy summer. Summer camp is a positive environment for a person who cares about their work. Responsibilities The successful applicant will work directly under our Maintenance Supervisor and receive direction from him. You must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing a ladder. You must be a responsible individual with reliable transportation to and from our location. You must understand and speak English and have a happy demeanor to work around children. Requirements Experience in outdoor maintenance or related field preferred. Strong trade knowledge is a plus. Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
