Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician Helper

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician Helper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist experienced technicians in maintaining, cleaning, and repairing swimming pools to ensure they are safe, clean, and inviting for users. Responsibilities Assist with routine pool cleaning tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain water clarity and hygiene. Support the maintenance of pool equipment such as filters, pumps, heaters, and chlorinators by performing basic inspections and repairs under supervision. Help with the setup and breakdown of pool accessories and safety equipment for daily operations. Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform minor repairs or adjustments on pool systems and related equipment. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and storage spaces, ensuring tools and supplies are organized for efficient operations. Assist in documenting maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for record-keeping purposes. Skills Basic mechanical knowledge related to pool systems and equipment. Experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Familiarity with pool maintenance procedures including water testing, chemical balancing, and cleaning techniques. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards during all tasks. Service technician experience or background in maintenance roles is required. Good physical stamina to perform manual labor such as lifting heavy equipment or working in various weather conditions. Pay:

$21.00 - $30.00 per hour
