Sexual Assault Recovery Services Of Southern New Mexico Job Description Position:

Sanitation and Maintenance Specialist (Exempt Full Time)

Reports To:

Administrative Coordinator A sanitation and maintenance specialist is responsible for maintaining the La Pinon buildings. They are skilled in a lot of areas. Maintenance of inventory, scheduling repairs, and inspecting buildings as upkeep are the responsibilities of this position.

Educational Requirements:

At minimum, 2 years' experience in building maintenance. Experience in fixing basic plumbing issues, painting, and other daily maintenance duties are preferred. Completion of 40 hours of advocate training is required after hired.

Skills and Knowledge:

Ability to organize and coordinate maintenance operations Ability to communicate clearly with others both orally and in writing Ability to work with other contractors on projects Ability to work as a team member Ability to multi-task Self motivated and project orientated

Job Related Duties:

1. Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces such as countertops, floors, walls, offices, restrooms, common areas and storage areas 2. Inspecting equipment for facilities to ensure they meet health codes or Standards 3. Maintaining records of inspections, complaints, and other activities related to sanitation and maintenance 4. Coordinating with contractors to schedule repairs or replacements when necessary 5. Moving and assembling furniture 6. Providing basic plumbing needs 7. Outdoor landscape cleanup/maintenance 8.
