Maintenance Assistant

Full Time Maintenance Assistant- Skilled Nursing & Post-Acute Care Facility Desert Willow Post Acute Is looking for a maintenance assistant to join our team. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility Troubleshoot plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and general building issues Complete preventative maintenance and safety checks Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Maintain facility grounds, outdoor areas, and parking lots Assist with equipment repairs, construction, and improvement projects Maintain maintenance supplies and equipment inventory Follow all safety, health, and facility regulations Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs preferred Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment Strong problem-solving skills and reliability Healthcare or skilled nursing experience is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently Ability to lift over 25 pounds with assistance Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching required Work Environment Indoor and outdoor work in varying temperatures and conditions Exposure to tools, equipment, noise, and occasional odors/fumes Fast-paced healthcare environment WE are an Equal Opportunity Employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
