Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Position Summary We are seeking a Die Maintenance Helper with welding experience to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role where you'll assist with tooling, equipment maintenance, and basic fabrication while building strong foundational skills in industrial maintenance and production. Key Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading dies from heating furnaces Support tooling setups and maintenance activities Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed Operate equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and manipulators (with training) Use hand and power tools including grinders, impact wrenches, and cutting tools Clean, maintain, and protect dies to prevent damage or corrosion Assist with minor repairs including air and gas hose maintenance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all safety procedures and work instructions Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Welding experience required (MIG/TIG/Stick - basic to intermediate) Experience in manufacturing, metals, or industrial environments preferred Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Preferred Skills Basic understanding of blueprints and measurements Experience with metal fabrication or mechanical systems Forklift or crane experience is a plus Basic computer skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and heavy equipment Ability to wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, welding gear, etc.) Work Environment Industrial/manufacturing setting Exposure to machinery, welding equipment, and varying temperatures Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Why Join Us Stable Monday-Friday schedule Opportunity to grow into maintenance or skilled trades roles Hands-on work with real career advancement potential Team-focused environment with strong safety culture
