Description:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking porter to join our team at a well-maintained residential co-op in Forest Hills, Queens. This is a union position offering stability, benefits, and the opportunity to be part of a professional building staff.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including hallways, lobby, elevators, and laundry rooms Handle trash and recycling removal Perform light maintenance tasks (changing bulbs, minor repairs, etc.) Assist with snow removal and sidewalk upkeep during winter months Monitor building conditions and report issues promptly Work closely with the superintendent and management team

Qualifications:

Prior porter or building maintenance experience preferred Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and standing for extended periods Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Team player with a strong work ethic
