Grounds Maintenance Associate SUMMER

Are you at least 18 years of age and a student looking for work this summer? The Fort Miller Service Corp. has an temporary summer opportunity for a grounds maintenance worker. This role will assist in the basic building and grounds upkeep of one of our manufacturing facilities. Duties include landscaping (mowing, weed whacking, raking, shoveling etc.), general housekeeping such as cleaning, sweeping, painting, and assisting with other tasks as required. This position may also at times help out with the production of concrete burial vaults.

Qualifications:

The ability to perform heavy physical labor, lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Basic familiarity with landscaping equipment and hand tools. The ability to understand common measurements of length.

The ability to work outside daily, in all weather conditionsThe ability access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.

The ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.

The ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
