Cleaning, sanitation and Maintenance Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cleaning, Sanitation, and Maintenance Worker to ensure our facilities remain safe, clean, and well-maintained. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, sanitation procedures, and maintenance activities to support a healthy and efficient environment. Your energetic approach will help keep our spaces welcoming and operationally sound, contributing directly to the overall safety and satisfaction of our team and visitors. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance Execute janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation to uphold hygiene standards Carry out custodial responsibilities like replenishing supplies and ensuring restrooms are stocked and sanitized regularly Support facilities maintenance by inspecting equipment, reporting repairs needed, and assisting with basic repairs or painting as required Perform industrial cleaning tasks in specialized areas to maintain safety standards in high-traffic or hazardous zones Assist with porter duties such as moving furniture or equipment to facilitate cleaning or maintenance projects Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Experience with industrial cleaning environments is preferred Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces!
