Summer Program Maintenance/Security

Job Overview Join our dynamic summer team as a Program Maintenance and Security Associate for the Art League of Long Island's Summer Art Adventure program, where your energy and dedication will help create a safe & welcoming environment for all participants. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of our (8) room facility. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth operations, positive guest experiences, and a secure setting for program attendees. Responsibilities Monitor the safety and security of all program areas, including entrances & playground. Assist with drop off and pick up. Assist with weekly setup, breakdown of Art Show. Ongoing maintenance to ensure facilities are clean, inviting and functional, which includes bathrooms, 5 classrooms, and a cafeteria. Ensure playground is free of debris and safe for use. Engage with children and teens in a friendly manner and communicate effectively with team members. Qualifications A proactive attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing needs during busy summer programs. This role offers an energetic environment where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
