What You'll Do:

• Operate machinery such as skid steer & forklift. Will train the right candidate!
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep on company trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and support equipment
• Pull usable parts and components from scrap vehicles and equipment for repair and resale operations
• Process and drain fluids from end of life vehicles
• Assist with equipment inspections, fluid checks, preventative maintenance, tire work, battery replacement, and general mechanical repairs
• Work independently processing various materials from metals to construction debris
• Interface with team members via phone call, text, verbal or written instructions
• Provide excellent customer service & maintain a customer first attitude
• Wear appropriate company provided PPE
• Move or lift heavy equipment, materials, and objects up to 50 pounds
• Job site includes work outside in various types of environmental conditions
• Abide by all required company & safety policies
• Enjoy a consistent schedule with predictable days off What You Need to

Qualify:

• Mechanical experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and equipment maintenance preferred
• Clean NYS Driver's License with no major infractions in prior 3 years
• 21 years of age or older

Job Details:

Full-time up to 40 hours per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
