Job Description

Place of Work :
Hyde Park Group Company Owned Properties (Includes restaurants, buildings, offices, storage units)
Job Overview:
Scope includes facility repairs of all Company owned properties ranging from routine cleaning tasks, carpentry, replacing filters and light bulbs, repairs in drywall, woodwork, painting & staining, general landscaping including planting, purchasing and delivery of items for set up/cleanup & removal of patio items. Awning/signage cleaning and upkeep. Purchasing and delivery of equipment and supplies to all stores within 6-hour travel radius as assigned as well as to vendors for repairs or purchases.
Travel:
Must be able to travel outside of the home market 33% of the time (avg. 8 days per month)
Hours:
7am-430pm Monday-Friday with flexibility; occasional nights and weekends as assigned in advance for project completion to allow restaurant hours of operation not to be affected
Physical Requirements:
Primary functions require physical ability to work on location: stand for prolonged period, frequently stoop, bend, crouch, reach, and twist, lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amounts of weights up to 50lbs; ability to climb ladders; operate tools and equipment requiring hand movements and fine coordination.
Competencies:
1) Strong communication skills to vendors and on location with Managers/Chefs 2) Able to work independently 3) Able meet deadlines with proper time management based on the scope of the project 4) Able to change direction if needed based on emergencies or priorities 5) Able to help Demo. Work areas as needed 6) Able to paint walls, woodwork, furniture 7) Able to hang wall fixtures and other equipment 8) Able to take accurate measurements 9) Able to help install flooring 10) Able to help with appliance installation 11) Strong organizational skills
Requirements:
1) Have own tools and a reliable personal form of transportation 2) Must be able to drive a medium size box truck
Job Duties:
1) LAMA-lightbulbs while at locations including sending to the Director of Facilities & Maintenance, VP of Ops. lightbulbs need vs. what is in house using master par inventory. If out and cannot replace seek guidance to see if buy locally or add to maintenance list areas/bulbs that are out until they arrive. 2) Adjusting lighting timers seasonally 3) Adjusting foyer heat seasonally 4) Awnings-quarterly cleaning/upkeep 5) Patio a. Set up/Take down, Storage b. Cleaning concrete, windows, stains/spots c. Painting/repair/delivery if off site vases/holders/boxes d. Landscaping-purchase, plant, prune, frequent weed removal e. Repair/replace/hang lighting/bulbs f. Paint/repair/advise of parts needed for tables/bases for season g. Outdoor heater maintenance h. Cleaning bench & chair cushions 6) Drywall patching & painting 7) Floors-seasonal stripping/buffing tile floor as assigned 8) Table & chair feet inspect/replace as needed 9) Door hinge lubrication quarterly 10) Air wall & nano wall track cleaning & lube quarterly 11) Window cleaning & drop-down window cleaning 12) Water softener maintained annually 13) Resealing stone counter tops & table tops bi-annually 14) Maintaining cleanliness of all storage facilities interior & exterior 15) Leather & upholstery cleaning/treating monthly 16) FSE setup & installation 17) Transporting, loading & unloading 18) Assist in all general labor tasks including but not limited to; cleaning & janitorial, moving of fixtures, furniture, equipment, or prepping areas for skilled technician's interior or exterior projects 19) Company storage unit organization, inventory upkeep
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
