In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities through hands-on maintenance, repairs, and preventative care. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for staff, and visitors alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance skills in a fast-paced setting while working flexible hours that fit your schedule. Someone experienced with Laundry Equipment would be a plus. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, and carpentry to uphold facility standards. Conduct inspections using schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues efficiently. Operate tools such as welders, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and repair equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Assist with residential painting projects and minor construction or renovation tasks as needed. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities and document safety inspections. Support facilities management by supervising minor projects and coordinating with vendors or contractors when necessary. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role within manufacturing atmosphere Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, electrical work, and troubleshooting schematics. Prior supervisory or leadership experience is a plus, especially in overseeing maintenance teams or projects. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and collaborate with team members. Ensure positive interactions with team members and leadership.
