Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Property Maintenance Contractor to assist with the general upkeep, repair, and maintenance of residential properties. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career and learn hands-on skills. Work will vary from addressing maintenance issues at residences to handling move-out repairs and occasional rehab work. Once trained and independent, contractors are free to choose which work they prefer. Key Responsibilities Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, minor repairs, and basic landscaping Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repairs Conduct regular property inspections and report maintenance issues Respond to work orders and assist with tenant maintenance requests in a timely manner Maintain common areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and functional Assist with appliance maintenance and replacement Follow safety procedures and use tools and equipment properly Keep maintenance logs and report completed work Support emergency maintenance situations as needed Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred No prior maintenance experience required; training provided Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus Willingness to learn general maintenance and repair skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform manual labor Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Work Environment Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions Exposure to tools, machinery, and cleaning chemicals Benefits On-the-job training and skill development Opportunities for advancement Hourly rate increases after being fully trained Flexible schedule - work when you want on what you want Education, exposure, and mentorship in property investment
