Performs a variety of maintenance tasks for parks and facilities. Supports all park district departments, programs and events. Perform in a professional manner in order to facilitate a clean, safe, enjoyable, and quality recreation experience for the public. Duties include, but are limited to picking up litter and debris, routine janitorial duties, mow parkland, plan and prune flowers. Move, transport, position, install or remove heavy objects, which often may weigh in excess of fifty (50) lbs. Traverse or remain in stationary position for extended periods of time. Work in adverse conditions, such as a loud environment, heat, cold, dust, rain, snow, mud. Must be at least 18 years of age.
