Student Worker Aquatics Facility Maintenance WorkerSummer 2026
Number of Openings:
1 Purpose/ Objective of theRole:
The Aquatics Facility is seeking a reliable and motivated student to assist with daily operations, maintenance, and safety of theaquatics center. This role is ideal for students who are comfortable in aquatic environments and have an interest in facilityupkeep and water quality management.Tasks & Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the facilityAssist with pool vacuuming and general pool upkeepMonitor and help maintain proper water chemistry levelsSupport opening and closing procedures of the facilityReport maintenance issues or safety concerns promptlyProvide general assistance to staff and patrons as neededQualifications/Skills:
Must be a current Ohio Wesleyan University studentAbility to swim comfortably and confidently- 500 yards easilyPrior maintenance experience preferredKnowledge of water chemistry and pool systems strongly preferredExperience using pool vacuums and related equipmentStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPotential Future Career Benefit:
