Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing machinery, equipment, or systems
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Supervise and train other maintenance staff as needed
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
- Fabricate or modify parts as necessary to complete repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Interpret and follow technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Perform general facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, or electrical work
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and guide a team
- Proficient in mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience with fabricating or modifying parts for repairs
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, or electrical work
- Fluent in English for effective communication with team members and management
- Understanding of logic controllers and their operation
- Welding skills for metal repairs
