Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION
The primary responsibility of this position includes but is not limited to performing general building and production equipment installation, maintenance and repairs that meet company standards and ensure minimum downtime. Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures. This position will allow Teikoku USA Inc to mitigate risk associated with OSHA programs, safety, environmental, HAZMAT, flammables, hearing, certifications, etc.
PRIMARY DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Plan, install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment such as lighting, machining equipment and electrical and electronic components of equipment. Includes planning layout of connection and installation of wiring and conduit. Plan, install, troubleshoot, and repair systems related to hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related components. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual Preventive maintenance tasks as assigned. Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Assemble, fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures. Order and stock parts, tools, etc. as needed. Submit purchase requisitions. Maintain an organized stocking location. May perform production activities, when necessary, based on business conditions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Actively participate in plant safety committee. Participates actively in continuous improvement through individual process changes and participation on cross-functional improvement teams. Empty scrap bins Pre-cut stock for machining operations Prep rotors for spray Clean and deburr parts Clean and remove chips from lathes and equipment 5S throughout the shop Grind rotor journals
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS
Operate a Drill Press on numerous operations High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Completion of technical or trade school preferred. Must be proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, technical procedures and service manuals. Certification in a relevant technical discipline preferred. Three to five years related experience in a similar role. Effective problem-solving abilities Must be well-organized and can prioritize tasks. Basic computer skills. Microsoft Office software experience. Experience with a CMMS a plus.

Pay:
$27.00 - $28.50 per hour
