Maintenance Worker 1

The City of Pataskala is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Worker 1.

Qualifications:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a current, valid, Class B CDL certificate at the time of application. Applicant must have experience and knowledge in the operation of snow removal equipment (backhoe, tractor, etc.), mowers, and other related equipment. Must be able to perform heavy labor for extended periods of time in adverse weather conditions.

Duties include:

operation of city-owned equipment and other related activities associated with the Public Service Department.

Hours:

typically M-F, 7am-3pm but must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays for overtime purposes due to job requirements.

Terms of Employment:

Full-time 40 hours/week.

Salary:

Upon verification by the Employer that one or more of these licenses is current, in good standing, and registered with the State of Ohio, the employee shall receive a stipend in the following amount: $0.25 per hour.
