Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an organized and reliable Landscape Company Shop Assistant to support our field operations. You will manage daily shop and yard activities, prep materials for daily routes, and perform basic maintenance on equipment to keep our operations running smoothly.
Duties Equipment & Fleet Management:
Clean, wash, and organize landscape trucks, mowers, and trailers. Perform basic preventative maintenance and inspections (e.g., sharpening blades, checking fluids).
Crew Support:
Help field crews load and unload equipment and plant materials for the workday. Assist with morning dispatch (gate time goals) and afternoon check-ins.
Inventory Control:
Track and organize inventory, including fertilizer, mulch, hardscape materials, and leftover stock. Restock depleted shop items and notify management of low supplies.
Facility Upkeep:
Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized shop, yard, and driveway. Requirements Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with small engine equipment (mowers, blowers, trimmers). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift/carry up to \(50\text{ lbs}\) and handle physical, repetitive motion. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDA/DOT compliance is a plus). Previous experience in landscaping or a warehouse/shop environment is preferred. Flexible hours! Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
