Full-time SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Storeroom Clerk (MSC) supports operational and maintenance services within the plant while executing maintenance storeroom process tasks. The MSC will help ensure results while partnering with the plant maintenance team personnel, plant operational team, and all other plant support teams members for success. The MSC will participate on the maintenance storeroom workflow process team and will ensure that required tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The MSC will work with maintenance storeroom personnel, technicians, and planners, to ensure that both stocked and requested components are being procured, received, stocked, and kitted efficiently. They will be a competent CMMS user and participate in sustaining maintenance storeroom data integrity. This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Always comply with Safety work rules and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability. This role must be available to work scheduled work times, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates with maintenance storeroom team support services members to ensure personal safety, quality, delivery, and cost, are continuously being improved to achieve company objectives. Be an active member who contributes to the advancement of theMFI & ARM
culture. Works in partnership with plant personnel championing and executing to MFI maintenance storeroom standards Assist with implementing maintenance storeroom process and performance improvement projects Actively participate in maintenance storeroom process and system training for team personnel Actively participate in maintenance storeroom activities related to cycle counting, obsolescence, min/max review, receiving, stocking, etc. Actively participate in maintenance storeroom activities related to job packages and kitting. Actively participate in sustaining storeroom cleanliness and professional appeal Utilize MFI approved CMMS to manage, document, and support maintenance storeroomreporting and decision making. This will be accomplished through the guidance of MFI ARM standards. Keep accurate and up-to-date records. Provides input for root cause analysis (RCA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) to create an environment of continuous asset reliability improvement. Promote, and foster Michael Foods culture, values, and principles. Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviors. Accountable for a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and incorporate safety and health in all jobs and tasks. Adheres to Quality work practices, follows GMP's, maintains sanitary conditions and ensures that product quality is maintained. Reports any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality. Always ensures required regulatory compliance. Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent Minimum 1-year experience in purchasing multiple indirect/MRO commodities or has similar work experience with parts room / tool room with inventory control, receiving, and shipping processes preferred Prior experience in SAP usage preferred. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with superb time management skills. Excellent administrative and follow-up skills to achieve success with maintenance storeroom programs.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
